PT103-FK Outdoor Phone

The Project Telecom PT103-FK is a rugged weatherproof telephone designed for industrial, commercial and public environments where fast access to dependable voice communication is required.

Featuring an open-front design, the PT103-FK provides unrestricted access to both the handset and keypad without the need to open a protective cover. This makes it particularly suitable for emergency assistance points, transport networks, public access areas and industrial facilities where rapid communication may be critical. Available with Analogue, SIP or GSM / 4G connectivity, the PT103-FK can be integrated into conventional telephone systems, modern IP telephony platforms and mobile network infrastructure.

Constructed from heavy-duty cast aluminium and incorporating a reinforced steel faceplate, full keypad and IP66-rated weather protection, the PT103-FK is built to withstand demanding operating conditions. Available in Yellow, Blue, Red and Grey finishes, the telephone can be selected to suit site visibility requirements, safety schemes and installation preferences.

The PT103-FK has been developed for locations where communication equipment may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, moisture, dust, impacts and frequent public use. Its corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminium enclosure provides long-term durability in challenging indoor and outdoor environments.

The IP66-rated housing offers protection against dust ingress and water exposure, making it suitable for installations in exposed locations. Unlike traditional weatherproof telephones that utilise a front door, the PT103-FK features an open-front design that allows immediate access to the handset and keypad while maintaining reliable environmental protection.

This makes the telephone particularly well suited to emergency help points, transport facilities, industrial sites and public locations where ease of access and dependable communication are essential.

The robust construction, reinforced steel faceplate and heavy-duty components help ensure reliable operation in demanding environments where equipment may be subject to intensive daily use or accidental damage.

Simple Operation and Improved Accessibility

Designed with ease of use in mind, the PT103-FK features large tactile rubber buttons that can be comfortably operated while wearing protective gloves. The full keypad provides access to key telephone functions including recall, mute, speed dialling and last number redial.

The open-front design eliminates the need to open a protective door before use, enabling faster call placement in both routine and emergency situations.

For improved accessibility, an inductive coupler is fitted as standard to assist hearing aid users. A high-output warble ringer helps ensure incoming calls remain audible in noisy industrial environments and busy public locations.

Multiple Connectivity Options

The PT103-FK is available in three connection variants, enabling integration with virtually any communications infrastructure.

Analogue Version

The analogue model connects directly to standard analogue telephone lines and is compatible with both PSTN and PABX systems. Powered via the telephone line, it offers a straightforward communication solution for traditional telephony environments.

SIP Version

The SIP version connects to SIP-based telephone systems, IP-PBX platforms and VoIP networks via standard RJ45 Ethernet interfaces. Support for SIP 2.0, dual SIP servers, Power over Ethernet and browser-based management makes it ideal for modern IP communications systems.

GSM / 4G Mobile Network Version

The GSM / 4G variant operates via mobile networks using a Micro SIM card, providing communication capabilities where fixed telephone lines or network infrastructure are unavailable.

Supporting multiple GSM, WCDMA and LTE frequency bands, the telephone can be remotely managed using SMS programming and remote status reporting features. This makes it particularly suitable for remote infrastructure, temporary sites, utility facilities and transport applications.
