About the Wireless Collaboration Tool
The Project Telecom Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver Collaboration Tool allows you to wirelessly mirror in 4K High Definition content from one source device to another without the need for a physical HDMI cable. It can be used to connect Laptops, Tablets, PC’s and even Mobile Phones including iOS and Android operating systems wirelessly to a TV, Monitor, Projector or any other audio/visual peripheral, enabling content or presentations to be shared with a much larger audience, making the Collaboration Tool ideal for training.
Freedom and Mobility
The Wireless Transmitter gives you the freedom and mobility to be up to 30m in distance between each connected device. There are also huge cost saving advantages against purchasing a dedicated Electronic Whiteboard which can equate to multiple times the capital outlay.
BYOD Option
With its small size and lightweight design, the unit is easy to carry and store, assign additional Tx Transmitter Pods to different departments, allowing each department to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).
4K High Definition
The tool transmits 4K High Definition quality video data using the HDMI or VGA ports of each device by converting the signal 2.4GHz/5GHz Wireless Network frequency giving ultra clear and sharp images, which is especially important for presentations and other software applications where image quality is critical.
Choose from Bundles with One to Eight Tx Transmitter Pods

Questions (9)
-
What is the maximum distance the signal can be transmitted?
- Depending on the environment, the range can be up to 50m distance between the sender unit and receiver

Would I be able to plug the receiver into my HDMI wallport to distribute the signal from the laptop to several screens at the same time via my matrix switcher?
- Thank you for your excellent question regarding the Project Telecom 4K HDMI Wireless Transmitter Collaboration Bundle. The answer is yes, you should be able to do this. The wireless receiver is designed to act as a standard HDMI source device when plugged in. When you connect the receiver to an HDMI matrix switcher (via your HDMI wall port or directly), the switcher will treat the wireless video feed from your laptop as a standard wired input. You can then use your matrix switcher's capabilities to distribute that signal to any number of connected screens simultaneously.

Hi does the transmitting PC need any software installing?
- No drivers or software is required, simple plug and play set up

-
Hi, will this clash or co-exist with my current WiFi 2.4/5Ghz access points?
- Hi The 4k transmitter will not interfere with your 2.4Ghz access points

-
Can these be used to extend to multiple displays as well or is it only mirroring?
- The functionality of the transmitter relies on how your laptop/source device treats the connection. The wireless system itself acts as a direct, high-speed replacement for an HDMI cable. Therefore: Mirroring (Duplication): This is the primary and easiest way to use the system. The TV/screen connected to the receiver will display an exact duplicate of your laptop screen. Extending: Yes, it can also be used to extend your desktop. When the receiver is connected, your laptop detects it as a second external monitor. Using the display settings on your Windows or Mac laptop, you can choose the "Extend" option to use the external display as additional screen space. So, the Project Telecom 4K Transmitter supports both mirroring (duplication) and extending, depending on the setting you select on your source laptop.

What is the latency?
Also
Is the video output 3840x2160 30hz?
- Latency For dedicated wireless HDMI systems designed for collaboration, the latency (delay) is designed to be minimal: Expected Latency: 50–100 milliseconds (ms). Usability: This range ensures the video and mouse movements feel responsive for presenting, screen sharing, and general collaboration tasks. It is considered "near real-time." Video Output Resolution The maximum video output is standard 4K UHD, but the frame rate is optimized for transmission reliability. Maximum Resolution: 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD). Frame Rate: The output is typically 30Hz. Therefore, the transmitter is expected to output 3840x2160 @ 30Hz when connected to a 4K display.

Will this work on with HDMI-CEC technology, as in if I power on one of the devices/transmiter this will force the tv to turn on? assuming tv is capable of this
- The short answer is it is highly unlikely to work consistently, and the transmitter is generally not designed to support that function. Here is the detailed explanation: The technology you are asking about, HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), requires a device to actively send specific control commands (like "power on" or "switch input") over the HDMI cable's dedicated CEC pin.

Hi does this transmitt sound along with 4k signal?
- The Project Telecom 4K HDMI Wireless Transmitter transmits sound digitally as part of the HDMI signal itself. Here is a quick breakdown of how that works: HDMI Standard: The HDMI cable standard is designed to carry both the high-definition video and the multi-channel audio on the same cable. Transmitter Function: When you plug the Transmitter into the laptop's HDMI port, it intercepts the combined digital signal (video and audio). Wireless Transmission: The Transmitter then encodes and sends this combined digital signal wirelessly to the Receiver. Receiver Output: The Receiver reconstructs the original HDMI signal and outputs it via its HDMI port to the matrix switcher. Therefore, the audio is delivered perfectly in sync with the video, and the matrix switcher and connected screens will receive both the 4K video and the accompanying digital audio track automatically. No separate audio cables are required.
