Here is how it works: Audio Peripheral: The Project Telecom Omni Speakerphone is a USB and/or Bluetooth audio peripheral (like a headset or a simple microphone/speaker). It does not run any operating system or apps itself. Device Connection: You connect the speakerphone to a device that does run WhatsApp—typically a PC, Mac, or a mobile phone/tablet. USB Connection: If you connect it via USB to a PC or Mac, the computer recognizes it as the primary speaker and microphone. Bluetooth Connection: If you connect it via Bluetooth to a mobile phone or laptop, it serves as the hands-free audio device. WhatsApp App: When you start a WhatsApp audio call (or any other VoIP call like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, etc.) on the connected device, the device will automatically route the sound out through the Omni Speakerphone and use the Omni's microphone to capture the voices in the room.
